Later on that same gloomy Sunday, I lured Sally and Morgan to the beach for their shoot with the promise of a glorious sunset as a backdrop. Morgan, who photographs landscapes, looked suspicious. We soon forgot about the absent colours in the sky when the cold set in properly! These guys were troopers- by the end I couldn’t feel enough in my fingers to be able to change lenses properly- it reminded me of the line in the film Christmas Vacation- “She’ll see it later honey, her eyes are frozen”! Still, even in those sub zero conditions we had a lot of fun and I’ve promised they can stay warmer on their wedding day.
